Ink That Lives
In The Skin

Every piece begins as a conversation and ends as something permanent — built shadow by shadow, made to hold its depth for decades.

The Artist

Tiwaii
Funchess

Tiwaii Funchess is a tattoo artist working out of Columbia, South Carolina, known for black & grey realism that holds its depth — portraits, full sleeves, religious pieces, and script built to age as well as they photograph.

His work lives in the details: smooth gradients, deliberate contrast, and a careful read of how ink settles into every skin tone. Realism on melanated skin is a signature, not an afterthought.

Every appointment starts with the story behind the piece. Bring the idea — the design, placement, and flow are crafted with you, for you, and remain one of one.

Aftercare

Protect The Work

The tattoo is half the job — the heal is the other half. Follow these instructions for the best results.

Days 1 – 4

Wear The Second Skin

Keep the second skin bandage clean and dry for four full days. Do not remove it early — it protects the tattoo while it starts to heal.

Day 4

Remove & Wash

Gently remove the second skin. Wash the tattoo with lukewarm water and unscented soap, then pat dry with a clean paper towel — never rub.

Until Fully Healed

Moisturize 3–4× A Day

Apply thin layers of an aftercare product three to four times a day until the tattoo is fully healed. Thin is key — let the skin breathe.
